Are you passionate about sports and eager to contribute to a dynamic team? The Wheeling Nailers, proud affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Game Day Staff for the full season.
As a member of the Game Day Staff, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the fan experience at all Wheeling Nailers home games. This position will involve hands-on work in game day operations, event planning, and fan engagement, ensuring that every fan enjoys a memorable experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with game operations and execution of Live Game Entertainment (including anthem singer, in-game promotions, benchwarmers, and chuck-a-puck clean-up).
- Set up and break down intermission games and game day materials.
- Prepare giveaways and promotional items for game nights.
- Create a fun, energetic atmosphere in the arena.
- Assist with tabling and promotional activities during game nights.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
- High energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
- Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in sports or event management is a plus but not required.
- A genuine interest in the sports industry.
