Job Summary
At WHEELS OF TIME we ONLY work on vintage/classic vehicles.
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring classic vehicles to their original condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and effective communication.
Duties
- Perform auto body repairs on various classic vehicle makes and models.
- Ability to paint is a plus
- Utilize welding techniques to repair or replace damaged components as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Use power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Fabricate parts when necessary to ensure proper fit and function during the repair process.
Experience
- Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with welding is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and vehicle maintenance practices is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for successful performance in this role.
