What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Backup Driver position at Wheels up distribution LLC?
This is a unique position because you would be opening up warehouse early in the morning at 2AM and loading and unloading trucks until around 7:30-8am. If there are no call offs or overflow you are good to go home, if there are call offs or overflow that drivers can't take we will use our van and deliver, you will then make a percentage of what the route or overflow pays on top of the regular pay. This is easy work totes don’t weigh more than 30-40 pounds. This is part time work. Applicant will need to have experience on forklift and driving in inclement weather along with routed work experience and CLEAN MVR. THIS IS A 1099 POSITION YOU ARE AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR!
Responsibilities:
-Load and unloading with Forklift
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jack
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred, but not a deal breaker
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
