REPORTS TO: Property Manager
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience and Required Skills: 5 years’ experience
Must have own reliable vehicle properly registered and insured. Must have valid driver’s license.
Able to lift 50 lbs
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Supervise and train all janitorial staff at all assigned properties
- Provide expertise in all aspects of janitorial work including but not limited to use of specialized equipment, proper cleaning techniques, safety and scheduling
- Adhere to schedules as provided by management
- Respond to and complete work orders
- Provide services of a day porter and evening cleaner as directed by management
- Provide light maintenance services as directed by management
- Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies in assigned properties
- Work with Supervisor to report correct payroll of cleaners
- Mediate issues with and between staff
- Visit and inspect every assigned property on schedule provided by management
- Provide management with a report of any property deficiency in a timely manner
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of standard cleaning practices, use of specialized equipment, standard company management practices, scheduling and communication with management.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality services within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mentor advancement of staff
- Interface with tenants and clients
- Must wear appropriate Company clothing

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
