Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, and facilities maintenance.
Vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Maintain all common areas, restrooms, and break rooms by replenishing supplies and ensuring they are clean and tidy.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to support facility operations.
- Carry out minor maintenance duties to ensure the functionality of equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or spills to maintain safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are maintained according to company standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Deliver Supplies to our locations throughout MA
Requirements
- Previous experience in porter or custodial roles preferred, with a strong focus on commercial cleaning practices.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed in a dynamic work environment.
- Driver License
- Able to pass a background check

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
