Wherry Truck Lines, Inc. (WTL) / Green Waste Disposal, an industry leader since 1992, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. We specialize in walking floor bulk transport, land clearing, logging, and composting. Our commitment to serviceability and maintaining strong customer relationships sets us apart in the industry. The successful candidate will operate Dozers and Excavators, contributing to our land clearing and logging operations. This role may also involves operating grinders.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including Dozer and Excavators in land clearing operations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any damage and necessary repairs.
- Ensure safe, effective, and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
- Contribute to the company's operations in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators and dozer.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Commitment to improving skills and adhering to safety regulations.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
