Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene during food preparation and handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding menu items.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory management.
- Follow company guidelines and procedures to deliver consistent quality and service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Team player attitude with a willingness to help others as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
