What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medical Technician position at Whidbey General Hospital?
Must be 21 years of age. Three years’ experience as an EMT and experience working in the Island County EMS system preferred. Must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License, be insurable on WhidbeyHealth fleet insurance and possess a valid EMT license or be able to obtain one within 30 days.

Wage Scale :
16.280 - $25.128 Base Rate - For every twenty-four (24) hour shift, employees are compensated at their base rate for eight (8) hours, then sixteen (16) hours of overtime.
21.707 - $33.504 Effective Rate - Unscheduled time, non-shift hours, picked up / partial shifts (meetings, stand-by, public education etc.)
