Key Responsibilities
- Marketing and Communications
- Develop outreach materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
- Manage and update the Foundation’s website, ensuring content is current, accurate and engaging.
- Work with the Foundation team to create campaigns that enhance community awareness and support fundraising goals.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from the public and stakeholders.
- Utilize online platforms for fundraising.
- Develop a strong fundraising message and materials to appeal to potential donors, increase brand awareness, and foster community interaction.
- Assist in content development for fundraising appeals and community engagement.
- Utilize analytics to measure and optimize digital marketing performance.
- Event Coordination
- Plan and execute Foundation events including the annual Gala and Golf Tournament.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, decorations, audiovisual needs and entertainment.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining a high standard of quality. Coordinate with Operations Coordinator.
- Oversee and manage the full volunteer retention cycle, including onboarding, engagement, recognition, and ongoing support, to ensure volunteers feel valued, motivated, and connected to the organization’s mission.
- Collaborate with sponsors, vendors, and community partners to ensure smooth event execution and fulfillment of agreements.
- Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks and deadlines are met.
- Track and report on event performance metrics, including attendance, sponsorship outcomes, and financial results.
- Ensure post-event follow-ups, including donor acknowledgements, sponsor recognition, and internal debriefs to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
- Sponsorship Management
- Identify, cultivate, and secure sponsorship opportunities with local businesses, corporations and community partners.
- Develop customized sponsorship packages that align with sponsor goals and foundation needs.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with sponsors through regular communication, recognition and post-event reporting.
- Develop and execute sponsorship strategies to ensure that 80-100% of event expenses are covered through sponsorship revenue.
- With the team manages fundraising campaigns, both online and offline, and tracks and analyzes their performance.
- Plans, coordinates and executes campaigns or fundraising events to solicit donations—ensuring their success and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in communications, public relations, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in community outreach, event coordination, or nonprofit work, preferably in healthcare.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Wix, Canva, Donor Perfect, Qgiv, Bloomerang, and Constant Contact is a plus.
- Quick adaptability to new software and platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events or outreach activities.
