Internship anticipated to occur in May, 2025 through August, 2025
What You’ll Do:
The Software Quality Engineering Intern will assist the Quality Engineering organization in verification and validation of consumer products and will work with the quality engineering team on existing and upcoming connected pet care products. The intern will work closely with developers, testers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-quality software products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in designing, development and executing test plans and test cases
- Performs manual and automated testing for device, mobile and backend applications
- Identifies, documents, and tracks defects using a bug tracking system [e.g. Jira]
- Collaborates with the development team to analyze software requirements and improve test coverage
- Participates in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Attends daily scrum meetings and project status meetings
- Will perform additional responsibilities when required
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
- Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions.
- High degree of initiative, self-motivation and ability to motivate others
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
- Comfortable around office pets (cats, dogs)

Not Required but Nice to Have!
- Programming Language Experience (e.g. Python)
- Experience with IOT devices
