Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests, while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health and safety regulations.
- Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Sanitate work areas, utensils, and dining equipment regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as necessary.
