About the Role:
Whiskey 'N Rye is looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the daily operations of our high-energy restaurant as well as launch our expansion into an adjacent restaurant space with a secondary brand. This role is perfect for a hospitality-focused professional with strong leadership skills and a sharp eye for operational excellence. You’ll be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, mentoring a diverse team, and driving growth as we continue to expand. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Supervise kitchen and service teams, ensuring high standards in food quality, presentation, and hospitality.
  • Implement sales and service strategies to drive revenue and elevate the guest experience.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members to build a motivated and high-performing staff.
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering, and budgeting to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Manage the Toast POS system and other technology platforms to streamline operations.
  • Partner with the culinary team to innovate and maintain a menu that delights and engages our guests.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that meets all health and safety standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and adapt strategies to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive workplace culture that celebrates teamwork and individual contributions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management; prior experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role preferred.
  • Culinary background or hands-on kitchen experience is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with Toast POS and other industry-relevant management software.
  • Strong operational knowledge of restaurant systems, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for creating memorable guest experiences and building community through hospitality.
  • Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
