Description: Provide day-of production support (including setup, operations and gate management) for Jacksonville Whiskey Riot, a spirits tasting festival, on May 3, 2025.
Responsibilities:
1. Pre and post event operations
- Site setup and teardown
- Assist in coordinating with rental companies to ensure site plan is followed during setup
- Some physical work and heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Manage temporary operations staff who will be assisting with the setup
2. During event operations
- Management and assistance of key event logistics
- Manage temporary staff event crew
- Manage the hand out glassware to attendees
- Re-stocking snack and water tables
- Oversight and assistance of event sanitation - trash management if needed, spit buckets
3. Box Office/Gate Management
- Manage staff and ticket scanning for event
- Coordinate with security team to effectively set up safe and efficient check in process
- Assist in organizing the check in process on site to minimize queuing and efficiently check in attendees.
- Experience with Tixr is a plus!
Qualifications
- MUST BE BASED NEAR JACKSONVILLE, FL
- Organized and driven multitasker with time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous event production or hospitality experience
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to stand for long periods, participate in physical work, and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with ticketing platforms
