Whiskey Tango is a premier destination for nightlife enthusiasts, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, cutting-edge music, and top-notch menu, whiskey selection and cocktails, popular with tourists, staycationers from Portland, bridal parties and locals alike. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience that keeps our patrons coming back for more. We are ramping up for a busy tourist season and would like to add another skilled bartender to our Whiskey Tango family!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Create unique and innovative cocktail recipes
- Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests to ensure a memorable experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink orders for banquet events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mixologist or bartender preferred
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes
-Must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
Pay is $14.20/hr plus tips.
