Position Overview
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. You will also work closely with the care team to provide compassionate, individualized support to residents with memory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Provide direct resident care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene
✔Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
✔Assist with mealtime support and hydration
✔ Engage residents in meaningful activities and memory care programs
✔Maintain a clean and safe environment while adhering to health and safety protocols
✔Observe and report changes in resident behavior or condition to the care team
✔Collaborate with healthcare professionals to contribute to individualized care plans
✔ Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and families
Qualifications:
Experience in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred (but not required – we provide training!)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for supporting seniors
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Certification as a Home Care Aide (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus, but not required
