Position Overview
As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen duties to ensure residents receive healthy and well-balanced meals in a safe, welcoming atmosphere. Your role is essential in promoting residents’ well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Assist with meal preparation and food service according to dietary guidelines
✔Ensure residents’ dietary needs and preferences are met
✔Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food storage areas
✔Assist with washing dishes, organizing supplies, and basic kitchen tasks
✔Provide a friendly and respectful dining experience for residents
✔Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
Experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred (but not required – we provide training!)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions
Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with memory care residents
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
