Position Overview
As a Med Tech, you will support residents in their daily lives while ensuring their health and safety. This role involves direct resident care, assisting with medication management, and actively participating as a member of the care plan team to enhance the well-being of those with memory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
✔Provide direct resident care, including assistance with daily living and personal hygiene
✔ Assist with medication management, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols
✔ Collaborate with healthcare professionals and contribute to developing and implementing individualized care plans
✔Assist in memory care and dementia programs, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment
✔Maintain a clean and safe environment while following health and safety protocols
✔ Educate residents and families on health management strategies and available resources
Qualifications:
Experience in assisted living, acute care, or home community care preferred
Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate demeanor with a passion for providing quality resident care
Relevant certification or training is a plus
