What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Leader, you’ll oversee technical operations across multiple Express Car Wash locations, ensuring every piece of equipment operates efficiently and every team member is supported in maintaining high standards.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Operations
- Partner with 5-10 Site Leaders to assess and prioritize maintenance needs.
- Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure tunnels and systems operate at full capacity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and PLC system issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Stay current on the latest car wash technologies and maintenance best practices.
Safety & Compliance
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols, policies, and regulations.
- Train staff on equipment safety and ensure a culture of compliance at every location.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
Budgeting & Resource Management
- Manage resources efficiently, finding cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies for routine and emergency repairs.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance role, preferably within the car wash industry or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of car wash tunnel systems and major/minor equipment installations.
- Expertise in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between locations.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with car wash chemical systems.
- Experience managing maintenance teams or supporting multiple operational sites.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a noisy, wet, and fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
