Your Role as a Shift Lead
As a Shift Lead / Customer Experience Representative, you’ll play a key role in daily operations, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction while leading the team during shifts. Here’s what your role includes:
- Customer Engagement: Welcome customers, answer questions, promote our unlimited wash memberships, and educate new customers on our variety of wash options and services.
- Operations & Safety: Guide vehicles into the wash tunnel, prep vehicles, and monitor equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
- Team Leadership: Act as a key holder responsible for opening and closing procedures and take charge of staff leadership in the absence of the Assistant Site Leader or Site Leader.
- Attention to Detail: Conduct vehicle checks, uphold our "Sparkle Assurance" standards, and ensure each wash meets and exceeds customer expectations.
Whistle Express offers multiple paths for career advancement. Shift Leads who demonstrate dedication and commitment to growth can move up to roles like Assistant Site Leader, Site Leader, or into specialized positions such as Trainer or Maintenance Technician.
