PiggyBank Branch Manager

Position Summary:

Welcome to the PiggyBank: WhistlePig’s one-of-a-kind brand outpost in the heart of Louisville, where whiskey meets wonder and hospitality goes hog wild. We’re looking for a dynamic, people-first leader to serve as Branch Manager, overseeing the day-to-day magic that brings our irreverent spirit to life. This is more than just managing operations, it’s about crafting unforgettable experiences, building an inspired team, and ensuring every visitor leaves with a story worth toasting. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Daily Operations Management:

• Keep the PiggyBank running smooth as a wellaged Rye — from frontofhouse charm to backofhouse hustle.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience with highquality service, warm hospitality, and toptier cocktails.
• Champion standards, policies, and procedures to ensure seamless operations and consistent excellence.
• Troubleshoot like a pro and keep our guests happy (and coming back for more).

Staff Leadership & Culture:

• Hire, train, coach, and grow an A team of rockstars who live and breathe WhistlePig culture.
• Schedule with strategy, manage payroll like a boss, and make sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
• Cultivate a strong, positive culture where employees are motivated, empowered, and proud to be part of the WhistlePig brand.
• Step in when challenges arise and handle conflicts with confidence and care.

Financial Savvy & Business Smarts:

• Own the numbers from budgets and cost control to sales analysis and inventory management.
• Look for opportunities to increase efficiency, boost revenue, and keep the PiggyBank thriving.
• Partner with vendors, optimize supply chains, and keep ordering on point.
• Report financials clearly and accurately, keeping compliance top of mind.

Menu & Experience Curation:

• Collaborate with Marketing to evolve food and beverage offerings that wow guests and generate revenue.
• Ensure every sip, snack, and moment meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

Marketing, Sales & Guest Experience:

• Be the face and the voice of PiggyBank in the community — helping build brand awareness and drive foot traffic.
• Launch local marketing initiatives, events, and partnerships that keep people buzzing about us.
• Handle guest inquiries and reservations with style, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience from start to finish.

Compliance & Safety:

• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Create a workplace that’s as safe as it is spirited.

Qualifications:

Language Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Proven leadership and team management skills (you know how to lead with heart and hustle).
• Stellar communication chops — with staff, guests, vendors, and execs alike.
• Experience managing restaurant or bar operations — and a deep love of hospitality.
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities (quick thinking, cool under pressure).
• Solid grasp of budgeting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with food safety, hygiene practices, and industry regulations.
• A background in hospitality, guest experience, event execution, or experience curation is a huge plus.
• Bonus points for bartender or server experience — you speak the language of hospitality from the ground up.

In essence, a successful Branch Manager in this role will exhibit leadership, is an exemplary problem-solver, master motivator, and a financial manager. Experience as a Specialty Bartender and a Host/Runner/Server/Experience Curator a bonus.
