Introduction

• Whitacre Rebar is a 104-year-old family-owned concrete reinforcing steel contractor that fabricates and installs rebar. We are seeking full-time help in our Rebar Manufacturing/Fabrication facility. www.wrebar.com

Basic Functions

• Follow company safety guidelines and exhibit a positive safety attitude
• Operate shear machine
• Operate bending machines
• Operate overhead cranes/forklifts
• Load finished orders onto trailers
• Unload stock material
• Preassemble cages, piers, caissons, mats, and other structures
• Work in a team environment
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and tape measure
• Ability to work overtime as necessary
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty environments
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Willingness to learn
