Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) teacher to join our innovative high school team. Applicants with the ability to acquire a Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 FACS Education License are encouraged to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art high school building, supporting a diverse range of students and fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The successful candidate will help students develop essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes, providing a solid foundation for future learning. The role involves using a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring that every student can answer "yes" to the questions: Do I belong here? Is this meaningful? Can I do this?
Key responsibilities include providing instruction at various levels, developing student skills, and working closely with students to ensure success. The position is under the limited supervision of the Principal.
Qualifications:BA or BS in Education.
