Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. This role is essential in maintaining the kitchen's efficiency and cleanliness while preparing delicious meals for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in food preparation and handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking equipment promptly to ensure a clean workspace.
• Support the culinary team by assisting with food preparation tasks as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Assist with bussing tables during peak service times to maintain flow in the dining area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or banquet setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
