White Birch Property Management offers a wide variety of luxury rentals in Savannah’s Historic District. We operate over 60 units in & around Savannah and are looking for a hard working individual to join our team as an Assistant to our Property Manager.
This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the office and providing exceptional support to our Property Manager & residents. Attention to detail and accuracy is critical, as you will be working with a fast-paced decisive “doer” in a company that is rapidly moving forward. Duties
- Create and post listings for any vacant units
- Meets with prospective tenants to show properties, conduct interviews, receive rental applications and explain terms of occupancy.
- Assist with property staging as needed
- Receive, delegate, and follow up on maintenance requests
- Manage accounts, rent collections and tenant notices
- Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new tenants
- Maintain organized and updated resident files and records
- Perform property inspections (move in, move out, annually)
- Prepare & distribute reports such as monthly rent roll, monthly owner report, inspection reports, etc.
- Communicates with tenants regarding property-related issues.
- Processes applications and conducts credit checks.
- Investigates and helps to resolve complaints, disturbances and violations.
- Take and coordinate property photos and video tours
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Leasing and real estate knowledge and experience required
- Availability of 40 hours per week required
- Must have personal transportation - our rentals are location throughout Savannah
Skills
- Strong phone & email etiquette with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in administrative tasks with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with data entry and maintaining organized records.
- Familiarity with Microsoft (Excel, Word) and Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
