What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at White Bird Clinic?
Position Summary:
The Custodian is responsible for providing cleaning at all White Bird Clinic locations. This position also provides custodial relief for other custodial staff as necessary.
Position Responsibilities
Empty trash and take out garbage recycling.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in reception, halls, and offices.
Wipe down reception area chairs to sterilize.
Restock soap and paper towel dispensers in bathrooms and kitchen areas.
Clean and restock bathrooms, and sanitize surfaces.
Wash windows.
Dust surfaces, walls, ceilings, baseboards, window sills, etc.
Some outside clean-up.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Professional cleaning experience
- Knowledge of OSHA safety issues related to medical offices
- Willingness to use Universal Precautions
- Ability to stay focused on tasks despite distractions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Flexible in time and temperament
- Knowledge of sharps and biohazard procedures
Compensation Details:
This is a non-union, non-exempt position with a target starting base compensation of $18.00 per hour paid on a bi-weekly basis.
In addition, this position qualifies for a competitive health and welfare package and generous paid time off opportunities.
This position requires successful passage of a State mandated background check.
