Job Summary
A technical expert who partners with business analysts and engineers in requirements gathering and reviews. Responsible for analyzing and translating business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Defining and designing the systems and applications architecture for both current and future business applications.
- Partners with infrastructure, application, and quality teams to ensure that applications meet business requirements, are well documented, and have processes in place for ongoing support and maintenance.
- Drives standard and efficient applications and infrastructure design by aligning the infrastructure roadmap with the application technology strategy, hardware vendor roadmaps, and service capabilities.
- Assists in the identification of emerging technologies that could have a positive impact on the organization; helps evaluate strategic fit.
- Contributes to technology strategy through consulting support : driving requirements gathering, collection of existing deployment plans, synthesis of business goals, and operating strategies.
- Apply architectural principles, guidelines, standards, reference architecture, patterns, and frameworks to deliver consistent views in support of technology strategy and portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications
Identifying the need for system integrations, selecting appropriate integration technologies, and establishing standards for data exchange between different systems.
Creating a comprehensive blueprint for how systems will interact, including data mapping, message formats, and communication protocols.
Evaluating and choosing appropriate integration platforms as a service (iPaaS), enterprise service buses (ESBs), APIs, or other technologies to facilitate data exchange.
Defining how data from different sources will be transformed and structured to ensure compatibility between systems.
Designing and implementing the logic for how data will move between systems, including error handling and data validation processes.
Ensuring integrations are performing optimally, identifying and resolving integration issues, and adapting to changing business requirements.
Familiarity with various integration patterns, such as point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, and message-based architectures.
Expertise in data structures, data transformations, and data quality management.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other API standards for building integration interfaces.
Understanding of broader enterprise architecture concepts, including business, application, and technology layers.
