Responsible for serving as a key strategic role, working across Transportation, Supply Chain, Replenishment, Finance, and Category Management teams to lead data-driven decision-making and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations from supplier to customer. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels throughout the entire value chain network. Build and lead a team of Supply Chain Optimization Analysts and Specialists.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize the complete supply chain flow from supplier integration through customer delivery.
- Develop and maintain optimization models to support strategic decision-making across supply chain functions, including supplier management and customer service metrics.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to analyze cost drivers, develop business cases, and track ROI on supply chain initiatives. Coordinate with Finance to establish and track supply chain cost allocation methodologies related to defined solutions.
- Partner with Category Management teams to support data-driven supply chain decisions and negotiations.
- Design and implement processes to improve Supply Chain efficiency across the supplier-to-customer network.
- Create financial models and scenarios to evaluate supply chain optimization opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement through data analysis and process optimization.
- Assess organizational needs, define team structure and build out a supply chain optimization team as the function expands. Create standardized processes and documentation to support team scalability.
- Develop and mentor team members while establishing clear roles and responsibilities.
