Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the operations of several fabrication centers in a specific region. Provides input and feedback to management regarding strategic departmental goals, operations planning, financial management, process improvement, and compliance.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

• Oversees fabrication operations, including managing personnel, production, quality, and budget, to meet the company's goals.
• Assists fabrication managers by ensuring that strategic plans are established and implemented at fabrication centers.
• Ensures execution of company strategy through training programs and collaboration with customers, sales, operations, and human resources.
• Leads innovative operations initiatives in collaboration with the Regional President and senior management team, ensuring alignment with the company's operational priorities.
• Holds Fabrication teams accountable to performance metrics, providing regular feedback, and ensuring accountability for driving profitable business results.
• Oversees and monitors quality control. Makes sure production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Ensures associates comply with all safety training, processes, and procedures while maintaining workplace safety and adherence to OSHA regulations and relevant fire codes.
• Manages HR processes like hiring, coaching, and performance management, while building a strong leadership pipeline. Promotes a culture of accountability and inclusivity to motivate the team toward excellence.
• Utilize best practices from various fabrication centers to establish top-tier processes.
  
  

Nature and Scope

• Problems are typically defined by higher level leadership. Problems are difficult. Solutions require analysis and investigation.
• Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. May set or change plans/goals within respective department or area.
• May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level.
  
  

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
• Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 9 years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience required
• Experience leading multi-site facilities
• Strong operations experience required
• Experience in managing a P&L required
• Sales experience preferred
• Salary range - 151,300.00 - 245,600.00 USD Annual DOE
