Position Summary
The Engineer, Network supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Firm's global network infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency across LAN, WAN, wireless, and security services. This role requires expertise in Cisco networking, SASE solutions, and cloud-based security frameworks to optimize performance and enforce security standards.
Key responsibilities include administering and enhancing network technologies such as switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN, and routing protocols, integrating them seamlessly into the Firm's technology portfolio. The Network Engineer provides strategic input on IT infrastructure, aligning it with zero-trust architectures and cloud security models.
Additionally, this role collaborates with TECH teams to implement best practices for network administration, security, and performance optimization while supporting mission-critical operations and long-term business objectives.
Perform any other duties as required by the Firm.
Duties and Accountabilities
Network Administration & Support :
- Design, configure, and manage Cisco-based network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
- Deploy and maintain Cisco VPN solutions, ensuring secure remote connectivity.
- Optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP for efficient traffic management.
- Oversee the administration of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and network access control.
- Implement and support SASE solutions to ensure secure, cloud-delivered networking.
