Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
Communicate, promote, and comply with all MasTec Renewables Safety policies, goals, vision, and campaigns to the project team
- Promote the safety culture onsite by working with the Site Safety Manager to ensure personnel are able to maintain a safe working environment
- Work with Field Quality Manager to ensure the quality of the Project is meet client and company specifications
- Work with Superintendents, Field Engineers and Field Quality Manager to have all work in compliance to the jobsite specifications
- Communicate consistently with local Union Business Manages and Field representatives from Unions
- Attend project Pre-job meetings and work with Director of Labor Relations on all Union communications
- Manage the project team with the Project Manager (PM)to facilitate an environment for all management and supervision staff to work in a respectful, constructive, and positive
- Oversee Project Superintendents, Union construction workers, Subcontractors, and manage vendors with material supplies
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable
- Monitor and direct the progress of the construction site
- Assist Assistant Project Manager / PM with project schedule updates
- Recognize the need for and negotiate Change Orders facilitated by APM / PM
- Work with Superintendents on project staffing needs for Union labor and project equipment requirements
- Monitor budget project costs to ensure project costs are within budget
- Ensure production schedules are maintained to measure time, production and meet requirements of project.

- Ability to study project cost indexes and change / adapt to benefit the project
- Study, communicate, and improve on productivity analysis provided by Project Manager
- Keep records in a systematic, well-organized
- Monitor all required paperwork for entire
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to large employee groups, owners or engineers.
- Maintain and enforce discipline throughout the
- Assist in the interviewing and hiring of direct reports
- Train direct reports, plan, assign and direct work, appraise performance; reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems
- Work with the Client's site management team to ensure their expectations are being met and that they are satisfied with a safely constructed and quality-installed product
- Work with the PM to ensure the Client's expectations are realistically managed and aligned with the agreement and scope of work.
