GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preserve the integrity of 114 years of serving the interests of our customers and shareholders and enhancing the professional reputation of the Company.
- Foster a superior customer service attitude across all employees and sites.
- Coordinate efforts with multiple branches, Directors, Branch Managers, and 1910 Legacy team members to implement plans and policies to achieve overall objectives and ensure operating results.

SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with Director of Preconstruction for proposal efforts and “Go, No-Go” evaluations.
- Oversee estimates for regional pursuits and ensure regional teams prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates and proposals for applicable projects.
- Analyze project specs, conduct site visits and client meetings, and develop proposals aligned with team capabilities.
- Oversee project management to ensure proper sourcing procedures are followed and that compliant products and services are sourced at competitive prices.
- Develop strong relationships with key vendors and subcontractors to promote long term collaboration and ensure timely delivery and consistent quality.
- Act as the primary client contact and build relationships for long term stability and growth. Engage with clients addressing needs and provide expert solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify challenges and opportunities, and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- Partner with Business Development to target key opportunities, identify high-value projects, and build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work with Directors, Branch Managers, National Projects, and other 1910 team members to support cross-region and cross-company initiatives in alignment with the company's goals.
- Work with the Director of Project Delivery to oversee and execute specialized projects, ensuring compliance with directives and achieving project profitability.
- Coordinate with management and finance teams to develop budgets, allocate resources, and monitor expenses to ensure budget compliance.
- Stay current on industry trends, codes, regulations, and technologies. Participate in industry events to promote the company and apply expertise to inform regional management decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire regional teams, including field staff, to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture. Offer training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and expertise.
- Ensure all regional activities comply with safety protocols and regulations. Coordinate with the Safety Team to maintain a safe work environment for employees, subcontractors, and clients.
- Promote and enforce compliance with all relevant federal, state, county, and local safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience (typically 10 years) in construction and/or project management within the industrial electrical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Demonstrated success in supervising cost controls, budgeting, and tracking complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with proven experience in supervising and developing multiple direct reports
- Proficiency in construction software, project management tools, and industry-specific software (e.g., Accubid, Primavera, ViewPoint, Bluebeam,).
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and personnel simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to provide timely, reliable, efficient, and courteous communication to internal and external clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, relevant industry experience and training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
