CHHA Training Program Layout

The classes will be conducted as follows:

First 2 weeks (9am-5pm) via Zoom. (Must have webcam)

3 days 9:30am-4:30pm require in person @Newark office for skills participation

To become a New Jersey Licensed Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), you must meet the following requirements:

• Successfully complete a homemaker-home health aide training course approved by the NJ Board of Nursing.
• Pass a competency evaluation administered by an NJ-licensed home healthcare agency.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Be eligible to pass a background screening.
• Work under the supervision of a professional registered nurse.
• Note: Once certified, you will be listed in the State Registry as a Licensed Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide.
  
  
  

CHHA Training Program Cost:

Join our CHHA training program for June 3rd starts at a reduced cost of $350.

• $100 class registration fee and cost of books.
• $250 fee to be paid before class begins.
• All fees are non-refundable.
• Your full participation is required.
• Additional fees to be paid directly to NJ Division of Consumer Affairs for state license & finger printing.(this is NOT included in course cost)
