Position Description :
AM Home Delivery a leading logistics company in Dayton, NJ, is seeking a reliable and professional Gate Guard for our main distribution center.
As a Gate Guard, your responsibilities will include :
- Control access points at the distribution center for visitors, vendors, drivers, and team members.
- Check in and out drivers.
- Take pictures of loads, seals, and generate paperwork.
- Communicate concerns to the management team immediately and effectively.
- Maintain all applicable logs, updates, and files.
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure property remains secure.
- Think on your feet and problem-solve while remaining resourceful, courteous, and professional.
- Implement site-specific processes and protocols.
- Control and / or monitor vehicle movement within the distribution center to specific areas.
- Observe suspicious activity and / or potentially unsafe conditions. Document, report, and follow up as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 6 PM, based on operational needs. Hours can vary occasionally.
Compensation
16.00-$17.00 per hour with overtime after 40 hours.
