Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our delivery and warehouse operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and maintain accurate inventory records.
Receive inbound freight and ensure proper documentation and storage.
Oversee loading outbound shipments efficiently and securely.
Print labels as needed for inventory and shipments.
Update Transportation Management Software (TMS) with accurate information.
Coordinate with corporate teams to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate any issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with corporate operation teams and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations.
Manage and update operational reports, addressing inventory discrepancies as needed.
Coordinate with the routing manager to ensure routes and order delivery times are updated accordingly.
Work closely with the Transportation manager to ensure overall operational needs are met and issues addressed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
