Position Description :
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our delivery operations and ensuring that our delivery teams adhere to company policies and procedures. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Update driver Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETAs).
Oversee dedicated clients and address their inquiries and concerns.
Schedule trucks and containers for inbound shipments.
Report and resolve customer service issues promptly.
Manage drivers and conduct performance reviews on delivery protocols.
Ensure delivery teams adhere to company policy and procedures.
Communicate daily safety messages to the delivery teams.
Manage Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) procedures.
Collaborate with corporate operation teams and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations.
Manage and update operational reports, addressing inventory discrepancies as needed.
Manage and update the transportation platform, updating orders for deliveries, and rescheduling deliveries as required.
Coordinate with the routing manager to ensure routes and order delivery times are updated accordingly.
Work closely with the Transportation manager to ensure overall operational needs are met and issues addressed in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
