Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will educate clients about effective strategies for reducing the stress response. You will closely observe vital signs, electrocardiogram readings, and overall patient response while they exercise on a treadmill or undergo a pharmacological stress agent to assess their heart function under stress conditions. You will be responsible for peparing, assessing, and providing care for the patient througout the procedure.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients during cardiac stress test
- Placing ECG electrodes, setting up the trteadmill prtocol, and explaining the test process to patient.
- Taking detailed medical history, reveiwing medications, and identifying any potential risks or contraindications for a stess test.
- Continuously monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory rate during the stress test
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and families during labor and delivery.
- Monitor the health and wellbeing of newborns post-delivery, including initiating breastfeeding, assessing APGAR scores, and administering newborn screenings.
