Calling all Labor and Delivery Registered nurses for rewarding positions at Prestigious facilities across the state of Iowa!
Labor and delive ry nurses
provide care for mothers and babies before, during, and after childbirth
- Administering medication : Giving pain medications and epidurals
- Identifying complications : Looking for signs of distress and diagnosing and treating complications
- Communicating : Informing the physician of the mother's condition and needs
- Coaching : Guiding the mother through labor and delivery
- Providing emotional support : Addressing the concerns of the family during the birthing process
- Performing basic tests : Assessing the newborn after delivery
- Helping with breastfeeding : Initiating breastfeeding and monitoring the mother's bleeding and uterine tone
- Educating : Teaching new parents about infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
- Creating a birthing plan : Working with the doctor to create a personalized birthing plan for each mother
- Assisting with recovery : Helping the mother through the recovery process
- 13 week assignments
- Weekly Pay
- 12 hour shifts
- Day, Night, and Evening shifts available
