Job Summary:
White Glove is currently seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Emergency Room (ER) Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare Travel Nurse team. The ER Nurse will be responsible for delivering rapid, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, addressing a wide range of medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, including trauma, cardiac events, and other acute conditions.
- Assess patients’ conditions quickly and accurately, prioritizing care based on severity.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of care.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment such as EKG machines and ventilators.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately and promptly.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in [Michigan State] (or Compact licensure).
- 1 -2 years of experience in emergency nursing (preferred).
- BLS/ACLS and PALS certifications (required).
- TNCC or ENPC certification (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
