Position Overview :
As an ICU Travel Nurse , you will provide critical care to patients who are critically ill or recovering from life-threatening conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, intensive environment. This is a high-acuity role that demands clinical expertise, quick decision-making, and compassionate patient care. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and providing life-sustaining treatment as part of a collaborative ICU team.
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor and assess patient conditions using advanced medical equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapies, ventilator support, and pain management
- Assist with complex procedures, such as intubation, dialysis, and catheterization
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families and interdisciplinary teams regarding care plans and patient progress
- Maintain patient records in accordance with hospital protocols and ensure accurate documentation of all care provided
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to all infection control practices and hospital policies
- Stay up to date with the latest ICU nursing practices and technologies
