Duties
- Duties and Responsibilities
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse, also known as a step-down unit nurse, cares for patients who are not critically ill but still require close monitoring and treatment. These patients may be transitioning from intensive care (ICU) or recovering from surgery, trauma, or serious illnesses. The PCU is often a bridge between ICU and a regular medical floor. Duties involve both direct patient care and critical monitoring of various systems.

Skills and Qualifications
- State Licensure: A valid RN license in the state of practice/compact license
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent RN PCU experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
