About This Role: As a Loan Administrator, an unlicensed position, you will play an essential role in managing the early stages of the lending process, including assisting the Broker and licensed Loan Originators to get loans started, coordinating needed loan conditions, and guiding borrowers through the prequalification phase. Acting as the primary point of contact for potential borrowers, you will ensure a smooth and efficient experience while setting the stage for successful loan outcomes.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within tight deadlines. Clear and professional communication is vital, as you will collaborate with borrowers, brokers, and internal team members to provide updates and direction. Your efforts will directly influence the efficiency of loan approvals and funding, driving both customer satisfaction and overall operational success.

Essential Responsibilities: You will be responsible for overseeing the prequalification process for borrowers, verifying their eligibility for our real estate loan programs. This includes assessing their information, relaying accurate loan estimates, and maintaining consistent follow-up communication. Additionally, you will ensure all records and documentation are accurately prepared and organized to facilitate smooth loan processing and approval.

Key Duties:

· Facilitating initial borrower conversations/follow-up calls to collect necessary details for loan quoting by a licensed Loan Originator or Broker.

· Assisting with written correspondence by drafting and routing sales-related emails under the guidance of a licensed Loan Originator or Broker.

· Conducting preliminary reviews of borrower-provided information to assist in the loan prequalification process under the guidance of a licensed Loan Originator or Broker.

· Follow up on provided loan quotes

· Document loan progress through logging into system, gathering of needed items and submitting for final approval.

· Monitoring and coordinating stalled and cancelled loan files under the direction of licensed Loan Originator or Broker.

· Facilitating as needed in Marketing efforts for more loan leads, such as:
1. Handling reception at times and taking calls for screening of potential leads and helping to close borrowers for our private loan programs.
2. In close coordination with the marketing team, ensure targeted emails get sent out to “buddy brokers” and other active business referral partners.
3. Participate in presentations at real estate agent and lender offices

Qualifications:

· This is not a licensed role, we are not looking for licensed Mortgage Loan Originators; this position is an administrator to licensed individuals and managing the flow of loans through the Company.

· Prior experience in loan sales/private lending with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the mortgage industry (experience can include being a Loan Processor, Escrow Coordinator, Loan Coordinator, previous licensing, etc.).

· Must be detail-oriented, proficient at managing multiple tasks and have strong organizational skills.

· Proficiency in relevant computer applications, such as loan origination software and Microsoft Office suite, Excel, etc. – including ability to type at least 40-60 words per minute.

· Good communication skills & comfortable and eager to talk with clients over the phone or in person.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. The ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely is critical for ensuring success in this position.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer for data entry and communication. Also the ability to carry up to 20 lbs as they will be required to move around loan files and items in the office.

Work Environment: Shared work environment; In-office location is required.

Hours: This position is full-time, 40-hour week in the office, Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. There is a 30 min lunch break and an additional work break mid-morning & midafternoon.

Pay Rate: Hourly hire at $26 - $28 an hour depending on experience.
