White Horse Village is looking for a Hostess to join the dining department. This role is available on a fulltime or part time basis! Duties:
- Work with the Dining Room Manager as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
- Responsible for seating of residents in the dining room and satisfactorily handling of situations as they arise within the dining rooms.
- Ensures that the main dining room provides the optimum dining service to residents and guests which promotes their use and enjoyment of the facility.
- Oversees set up, service, breakdown, and cleaning of catering functions
- Insure that all facilities and personnel are in complete readiness for quality service before each meal.
- Circulate in dining rooms during meal period to field resident/guest comments about food and service.
- Maintain a keen and constant alertness to the entire dining room environment
- Promote safety and sanitation.
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a cordial and courteous manner
- Communicate with management team the comment concerning a resident’s meal acceptance.
- Available to work every other weekend and dining room managers days off.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards residents, supervisors and co workers.
- Must be able to know all responsibilities for each position in the dining room and recognize when needed to pitch in.
Must be:
- Vaccinated against COVID19 (will accept religious and/or medical exemptions)
- Have an up-to-date physical
- Have an up-to-date TB test
- Have an up-to-date Flu Vaccination for year 2022.
- Be able to pass a Pennsylvania Background Check
