PRIMARY FUNCTION
Are you a LCSW/LPCC who can support the mental health needs of students in a school-based primary care clinic? Ideal candidates will have ample experience working with children and adolescents. We are seeking an LCSW/LPCC who is committed to advancing the health and mental health outcomes of youth by providing clinical mental health services. Close collaboration with school personnel, including teachers and administration, will make the position successful. Seeking an energetic, creative multitasker who embraces team-based care to improve outcomes for students and staff.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
- Use evidence-based interventions to evaluate and treat mental health conditions encountered in the school-based clinic, including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and issues related to childhood development, family, and academic stress.
- Provide onsite management of acute mental health needs for students in the school setting.
- Collaborate closely with school personnel and other members of White House Clinics' care team, including primary care providers.
- Maintain appropriate, timely clinical documentation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Licensure Required: Maintain unrestricted Kentucky LCSW/LCPP license and meets ongoing licensure requirements; CSW will not be considered for this position.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will feel comfortable maintaining availability and flexibility to assess and treat patients presenting with behavioral health needs who are seeing any of several medical providers in the clinic. Appropriate candidates will have a knowledge of psychodynamics, human relations, crisis intervention, psychopathology, and group dynamics appropriate for their level of education and experience. Ideal applicants will have an understanding of Integrated Behavioral Healthcare principles and strong documentation skills. Additionally, successful applicants will demonstrate strong prioritization, organization and problem-solving skills and approach tasks and patient encounters in an energetic and creative manner. Successful applicants must exercise a high degree of initiative, the ability to manage requests from a variety of providers and staff members, and be able to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals with various degrees of training/education. Critical to the role is the willingness to acknowledge and respect the cultural and social background of Health Help’s patients.

Reports to Chief Program Officer.
SALARY
LCSW/LPCC Annual salary starting at $61,000.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position is exempt from wage and hour laws; some evening and or weekend work may be required. Work is performed in a school-based clinic health care environment and involves frequent contact with students, staff and the public. Position may include dealing with angry/upset people. Work may be stressful at times.
