A premier residential facility is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant or Med Tech to join our dynamic team. As a Nursing Assistant/Med Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients in detox and RTC levels of care. ## Responsibilities
- Assist team members in delivering quality patient care by performing tasks such as vital signs monitoring, medication management, and client care assistance.
- Provide support in other specialized areas as needed, such as medication management or COWS and CIWAS.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of client care systems and maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Participate in basic medication management and respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Contribute to the holistic care of patients in areas such as detox and RTC levels of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and communicate effectively with the team. This is the most crucial!
## Qualifications
- Prior experience or training in vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient care is preferred.
- Knowledge of detox, addiction medicine, behavioral health, and basic life support is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle situations with composure.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is desirable.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different settings and patient needs.
