*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Sound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing audio equipment and ensuring high-quality sound during recordings.
*Responsibilities*
- Set up, operate, and maintain audio equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, mixing boards, software, and recording devices. We have an Apollo x8 interface and neve 1074 preamp with a Sony C100 mic.
- Collaborate with producers and performers to determine sound requirements
- Monitor audio levels during recordings or performances to ensure quality
- Troubleshoot technical issues with sound equipment
- Assist with post-production tasks including editing and mixing audio tracks
*Qualifications*
- Proficiency in signal processing and audio editing software such as Pro Tools, FL Studio, MPCs, Avid, etc.
- Experience in video production or content creation is a plus
- Knowledge of videography techniques to capture sound effectively
- Strong understanding of sound engineering principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
We need the engineer to first set up the new studio at our location and then we are interested in 2 hours during the day at least once per week and 2 hours in the evening sometime between 6-9pm once during the week as well. Open to negotiating more times if it's a good fit.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
