Responsibilities :
As the Program Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our treatment center. Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Supervising Behavioral Health Technicians : Provide guidance, support, and supervision to a team of Behavioral Health Technicians, ensuring they adhere to policies, protocols, and best practices.
- Intake and Discharge Management : Coordinate and oversee the intake and discharge processes, including leading and training team members who ensure smooth transitions for patients to and from the facility.
- Patient De-escalation : Utilize your skills in patient de-escalation techniques to handle challenging situations and promote a safe and therapeutic environment for both patients and staff.
- Communication and Collaboration : Foster effective communication among staff members from diverse backgrounds, promoting teamwork, and facilitating open dialogue to ensure efficient operations and optimal patient care.
- Twelve Step Principles : Demonstrate a strong understanding of twelve step principles and incorporate them into interactions with patients, while respecting their individual needs and beliefs.
- Staff Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to the staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and engagement.
