White Light Electric is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive our expansion into the industrial sector. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, results-driven professional with a passion for business development, relationship management, and strategic growth within the construction and electrical contracting industry.

🔹 This position is 100% commission-based and includes quarterly performance objectives to ensure success in securing industrial projects and driving company growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to secure industrial electrical contracting projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial developers.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers, including general contractors, facility managers, and plant engineers.
  • Effectively communicate White Light Electric’s expertise in power distribution, automation, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Track industry trends, upcoming projects, and bidding opportunities to maximize new business potential.
Success in This Role Means:
  • Meeting and exceeding quarterly business development targets.
  • Expanding White Light Electric’s presence in the industrial sector through strategic partnerships.
  • Securing new industrial contracts and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Driving consistent revenue growth by identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in construction, electrical contracting, or industrial markets.
  • Strong industry network or the ability to develop key connections within the industrial sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set goals, and stay accountable to quarterly performance objectives.
  • Highly driven and comfortable in a commission-based role.
