The Fly Fishing Guide is responsible for guiding guests on wade trips, drift boat floats, and possibly scenic rafting trips. Requires moving supplies to multiple ranch venues and operating ranch vehicle or ranger.
Responsibilities
Responsible for guiding the beginner to advanced fly fisherman on wade trips and drift boat floats (majority will be wade guiding) on Brush Creek, the Encampment River, North Platte River and numerous ponds on ranch
- Depending on rowing experience, may be opportunities to guide scenic rafting trips
- When fishing trips are not scheduled, will assist the Activities Department with transportation and other general duties
- Requires moving supplies to multiple ranch venues and operating ranch vehicle or ranger
Other Information
SKILLS
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Highly guest oriented
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Must have previous guiding experience and strong instructional techniques
- Rowing experience desired but not required
