What You’ll Do
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for building relationships with clients, selling hotel services, and managing the booking process through the Delphi or CI system. Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding the market, including competitor strengths, economic trends, and supply/demand to inform sales strategies.
- Ensuring booked business aligns with hotel parameters and closing the best opportunities based on market conditions.
- Utilizing White Lodging marketing initiatives to secure business and meet sales targets.
- Developing forecasts to support efficient planning and inform pricing strategies.
- Collaborating with management and the sales team to identify and address revenue generation issues through strategic action plans.
- Providing sales leadership by inspiring and holding team members accountable to goals and strategies.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Mastery of both reactive and proactive sales processes, and familiarity with complex business decisions and contract management.
- A 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hotel and Restaurant Management, or equivalent hotel experience.
- 3-5 years of hotel sales experience.
