Job DescriptionAs an Aerial Construction Laborer, you'll play a critical role in installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cable. Your duties will include:
- Performing general labor duties related to telecommunications construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment.
- Installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cable, ensuring safe and efficient installation practices.
- Operating mechanized equipment, such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and other specialized tools.
- Setting up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and safety barriers.
- Flagging traffic when required.
- Safely working aloft using climbing hooks and ladders.
